Royal Enfield reported sales of 1,33,442 motorcycles in October 2026, registering 6.80% year-on-year growth over 1,24,951 units in October 2025. The company added 8,491 units compared to the corresponding month last year, supported by growth in both domestic sales and exports. Combined sales across September and October 2026 reached 2,67,400 units, marking Royal Enfield’s best-ever festive performance.

Royal Enfield’s domestic sales stood at 1,21,527 units in October 2026, compared to 1,16,844 units a year earlier. This represents 4.01% growth, with an additional 4,683 motorcycles sold. India accounted for 91.07% of total monthly volumes.

Exports increased 46.97% to 11,915 units, against 8,107 units in October 2025. Overseas shipments added 3,808 units, contributing approximately 45% of the company’s overall year-on-year volume increase.

Compared to September 2026, domestic sales remained broadly stable, increasing 0.17% from 1,21,326 units. Exports declined 5.68% from 12,632 units, resulting in a marginal 0.39% reduction in total sales from September’s 1,33,958 units.

The combined up-to-350cc motorcycle and EV reporting category recorded sales of 1,16,816 units, compared to 1,10,874 units in October 2025. Growth stood at 5.36%, with this category contributing 87.54% of total sales.

Motorcycles above 350cc registered 18.11% growth, reaching 16,626 units, against 14,077 units a year earlier. Their share of monthly sales stood at 12.46%. The larger-capacity category also improved strongly over September, growing 33.40% from 12,463 units. Meanwhile, the combined smaller-capacity motorcycle and EV category declined 3.85% from 1,21,495 units.

Royal Enfield continued expanding the retail presence of its Flying Flea electric motorcycle brand, adding Hyderabad and Pune to its footprint. Availability remains limited to select cities, restricting its current sales reach.

Royal Enfield has not disclosed separate electric motorcycle volumes, instead including Flying Flea sales within its combined smaller-capacity motorcycle and EV category. Consequently, the monthly figures do not establish the electric brand’s individual contribution.

B. Govindarajan, Managing Director of Eicher Motors and Chief Executive Officer of Royal Enfield, highlighted demand across established models such as the Classic 350 (soon getting tubeless spoke wheels) and newer additions including the Himalayan 440. He also said the company was increasing production to meet demand during the remaining festive period.

Royal Enfield’s cumulative sales for April–October FY2026–27 reached 8,42,538 units, up 17.53% from 7,16,854 units in the corresponding period last year. Domestic volumes increased 19.62% to 7,63,548 units, while exports grew 0.59% to 78,990 units.
