"U.S. military aid to Israel has always been a cross-the-aisle agreement," the office wrote on X after President Donald Trump announced earlier this week that $4 billion in aid would be "cut off at the end of the year."
"Today, Israel has a strong and stable economy. The move by PM Netanyahu and President Trump from aid to partnership shows the strength and sophistication of our relationship, and its ability to adapt and stand strong over time," Netanyahu's office added.
Trump said on Election Day, "Israel's our number one," and, "We give them more than anybody else, and they no longer need it."
